Lights On Haunted Castle
Walk through the Haunted Castle with the house lights on. Scare actors will be present in costume, but the experience uses reduced or no scares so guests can take in the sets, details and winding route in a less intense atmosphere.

Safe Trick-or-Treat
A free daytime Halloween event open to all ages. Dress up, bring the crew and enjoy a friendlier side of the Haunted Castle & Black Forest tradition.
Which Event Is Right for You?
Daytime
Both events run from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
Castle Access
The $5 Lights On tour takes guests inside the Haunted Castle.
Lower Intensity
House lights are on. Costumed scare actors are present, with reduced or no scares.
Free Option
Safe Trick-or-Treat is free and open to guests of all ages.
Plan the Day
The daytime events conclude before regular Sunday haunt operations begin later that evening.

Lights On Haunted Castle and Safe Trick-or-Treat begin.
Daytime special events end.
Regular Haunted Castle and Black Forest operations begin.
Regular Sunday attraction lines close.
Dress for the weather
Some event activities and walking areas may be outdoors. Check our official Facebook page for weather updates before traveling.
Leave bags in the car
Bags, backpacks and purses are not permitted past security, including in the Midway. Leave them at home or in your vehicle.
Know what to expect
The Castle’s sets and Halloween imagery remain visible, and costumed scare actors will be present even though scares are reduced or omitted.
